Dear Friends and Supporters,
Welcome to The Hoffman Estates (IL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated website. For nearly 40 years our members have enthusiastically worked to improve the quality of life for many in the northwestern suburbs. Each year our chapter members contribute over 2,400 volunteer hours to the community.
We embrace our chapter's rich history and continue to build on the foundation established in the early 1980s with fifteen resolute women from the Northwest Chicago suburbs working together to make a difference with Doris Bundy Noble as the organizer. We are women working as volunteers toward a shared purpose. We are honored to be The Links, Incorporated's 189th Chapter.
The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. The membership consists of more than 17,000 professional women of African descent in 299 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations, please visit www.linksinc.org.
Thank you in advance for sharing our commitment to the community. We engage with organizations and individuals to partner with us in achieving our goals of transforming the community we serve and making a positive impact. Your support will help us expand our footprint and continue the legacy of serving our communities through our organization's five facets, Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services.
